Corporate Challenge

Saturday February 27th, 2010

Check-In: 9 - 10:30 AM
Race: 11 AM - 12 PM
Lunch & Awards: 12 - 1 PM (results)

A select few teams challenge one another in their business and other teams in their industry to get out and enjoy the outdoors with a big of healthy competition. It's just a bit of fun, and it is all for a good cause.

We accept registrations for the event as soon as the summer is over. Keep in mind that we might cut off registration after the first 20 teams, so now is the time to secure your place at the starting line. We'll match you up with the coaches and you'll be on your way!

Win the coveted antique ski trophy! Will your company display this next year? Get your team together and start practicing!

The idea is simple. Get five people from your business to commit to a morning of fun, and let your boss pick up the donation. We take care of the rest. We' provide you with a starter pack with some great gifts. We even arrange for your equipment needs, take out for a lesson to learn the basics of cross country skiing and feed you lunch. You just have to show up and ski. It doesn't matter if you have never had skis on before. In fact, that is the whole idea; to introduce you or reacquaint you with cross country skiing.

Value: You could not ask for a better deal. You get more than $150 worth of lessons, more than $150 worth of rentals, more than $60 worth of trail fees and even great food on the day of the event. Do the math, and no matter how you cut it, you're getting a bargain for a fun staff motivation day at just $600. Plus, your money is going to good use because a team of volunteers makes sure you have fun while directing your money to kids who would likely never otherwise try skiing.

Not the corporate type? Maybe you operate a small company with too few employees to muster a team. Hey, we're flexible. Assemble five people who are in your line of work and pool resources. We're not after creating elite ski teams here, but rather getting you and your colleagues out on the skis.

Want to join us? Here is the information information kit (in PDF format).
YOu'll also need to submit this Registration and Waiver form (also in PDF).

We'll be posting the results of the challenge here some time soon after the event. Bravo to the following companies for coming out to do a bit of skiing and supporting Inner City Youth.
